Since their formation at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014, New Antonine Brass have enjoyed many highs. They were highly commended in the RCS David James ensemble prize, performed James Macmillan's 'Exsultet' for him at the AEC conference hosted in Glasgow and have affiliations with the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel.
Outside the quintet, players regularly freelance with orchestras such as Scottish Ballet, Scottish Opera, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Camerata and Ulster Orchestra.
In 2017, New Antonine Brass were appointed as Live Music Now Scotland artists. As well as recitals, they regularly lead workshops and perform concerts in community venues across Scotland, most recently at Loch Shiel Festival where they were featured artists.
